Early On

      Provides services to children from birth to three with medical/health conditions and/or developmental delays. (Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District)


Early Head Start

      Federally funded program, free for income eligible families, provides home visits, group experience, parent meetings, etc. for families with children prenatal to age 3. (Mid MI Community Action)


Head Start

      Federal funded preschool program offered at no cost for families who qualify. Parents with children 3-5 years old, as well as children with special needs are welcome to appyly. Some Head Start programs may also have some state funded 4 year old preschool slots available and providing home visits and/or center based group experience in both full day or part day sessions. Some programs are able to provide transportation. (NEMCSA and Mid MI Community Action) 


Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

      State funded preschool program, free for at risk 4 year olds who qualify. Providing home visits, center based group experience, parent meetings, etc. Some programs are able to provide transportation.

Great Parents-Great Start

     A home visitor is offered to families with infant, toddler, and/or preschool age children. The personal home visit included activities for parent and child together, developmental screenings, community resource information, etc. (MOISD)
